Drummond is a Principal at Equilibrium Capital Group, LLC joining in 2011. Drummond received attention in the mid 1970s when he launched the first fully staffed national donor advised fund program in the United States, Tides Foundation. Tides Foundation is credited with pioneering numerous initiatives and funding mechanisms, which enable discrete support of critical social and environmental projects. This unique vehicle met the need of investors that did not want to form separate foundations but sought to provide funding to innovative initiatives that were important to them. As CEO of Tides, Pike created the platform around which many of today’s social finance foundations revolve. When he stepped down as CEO in November, 2010, the Tides organizations employed over 130, and when aggregated, ranked among the 100 largest non-profits in the US.
At Equilibrium Capital Group, Drummond will continue to build on his track record of innovations in applying financial and investment instruments to address environmental and community opportunities.
